A Tour of the Notre Dame Campus

Never in my life have I ever imagined sitting at a café

on the Notre Dame Campus, having breakfast,

but that is exactly what we did this morning

while waiting for our tour to start. . .

what a lovely, beautiful, historical place. . .

and because it was “FINALS” week. . .

our group led by our awesome guide, Molly,

practically had the campus to ourselves. 

I won’t go into all the details here. . .

I’ve labeled all the pics in the album below

for those of you interested in seeing it all,

but suffice it to say, if you are in area

and you love history, you should definitely

stop by the Eck Visitor Center for a tour.

Where's Weaver

Oh the Places they Go

Chicago. . .sort of

the weather forecast (always reliable. . .right?) predicted dreary, rain, and cold,

so I didn’t plan any outings for today. . .but since it seemed nice, with a bit of sunshine,

we decided to venture out for a Sunday afternoon drive. . .

the tulip trees are blooming all over this part of the country. . .just lovely. . .

our ultimate destination. . .

for a view of the Chicago Skyline across Lake Michigan. . .

Our original intention this week had been to take Amtrak to Chicago for a day trip. . .

but with yucky weather and cold predicted almost every day,

we are thinking we will postpone, and see Chicago from the

Wisconsin side of this trip. . .it will still be there a couple months from now. . .right?

Tomorrow we plan to do a tour of Notre Dame. . .
