I LOVED Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village
now this is my style of museum. . .a Living History Museum. . .
very hands on. . .up close and personal!
and to add to the excitement. . .
there was a Civil War Encampment. . .
adding a lot of excitement to an already great place. . .
we talked to several of the ladies in the camp. . .
they said they do all of their cooking, eating, and sleeping
right there in the tents. . .and that this was one of their best venues,
because they had real restrooms, and even showers. . .
that many of their venues only provide porta potties. . .
They also stated that they loved doing it. . .that is was a great get together. . .
They also stated that they loved doing it. . .that is was a great get together. . .
I know they do all this on their own dime. . .
we thanked them repeatedly, and told them how
almost authentic? ? ? LOL. . .
my favorite pic of the day. . .
or maybe this one. . .he was really playing and entertaining the crowd. . .
his pipe smelled soooo good. . .
beautiful costumes. . .
is this adorable or what?
I’m sorry. . .I could never do justice to how really great the entire place was. . .

We did see the glass blowers. . .
(I guess I was so entranced watching them I forgot to take pics)
