this truly has to be the best of both worlds. . .
a day at the beach. . .the sounds of the surf. . .and no salt crust. . .just lovely!

the Dunes were pretty great too. . .
what a way to wear out some kids. . .yeah. . .
run ‘em up and down those a few times. . .
the tallest one. . .260 ft high. . .
We’re staying at Thousand Trails’ Bear Cave
about 30 minutes away. . .
it was well worth the trip over. . .very nice!

We’re spending about a month in the state,

the State Capitol in Lansing,
and Mackinaw Island. . .
