Full Time RV Travel–Tennessee–Columbia - Franklin

This week, we are staying at a small RV park about 30 minutes south of Nashville called Camper’s RV Park.  Although the spaces are a little close together, and are gravel pads, the pull thru sites were easy to access, and fairly level.  I would not choose to try and back very big of a rig into some of the back in sites that are available. . .there are quite a few live ins, and the temps are scattered in amongst them, so you get to observe up close, and personal, all the junk the live ins are allowed to leave lying around.
It does seem as though they are attempting to clean up, and remove some dead trees and brush, so perhaps the park will be more traveler friendly in the future.
Although the website says you can make a reservation by email, which I did. . .make sure you follow up by phone. . .which I also did.  We still were NOT on the reservation list when we arrived. . .they do not respond to their email reservations at all. . .at least not in our case, which was why I had called to verify, and was assured, yes, we had a reservation. . .not a problem at all.
THANKFULLY, I had printed out a copy of my email reservation request, and they were able to accommodate us for a week, even though it was the Fourth of July weekend.
Now, as I said, we are about thirty minutes south of Nashville, right off of I-65.  We chose to stay this far out because friends were coming in from Houston to meet us here, and they were staying at the next little town up the road. . .Franklin. . .and RV Parks are few and far between in this part of the country.
Speaking of country. . .this is how you know for sure that you are in a country RV Park. . .
this gorgeous little goat, and other critters are wandering around for your enjoyment. . .
and the only thing I can say about this peacock is. . .MAGNIFICENT!
We are enjoying our time in Nashville. . .and will share our adventures there next!
Until then. . .Happy RV’ing

  1. You'll have to post a review after your stay. I looked at the reviews on their website and they weren't too kind.
