moving London Bridge to Havasu City Arizona. . .
what an ingenious touristy enticement. . .
I doubt seriously Dave or I would have felt
the need to stop over in Havasu City otherwise. . .
but the story of how London Bridge ended up
in the middle of the Arizona Desert
was too intriguing to bypass. . .
I seriously doubt the town of Havasu City
would be anywhere near what it is today without it. . .
after a lovely walk beside the river
and under the bridge,
we found us a wonderful place to relax
and just take it all in. . .
lots of awesome speed boats trolling back and forth. . .
Sea Doo’s. . .or whatever these things are called
someone’s pups were having a great play time. . .
and. . .if I ever decided to kayak (which I won’t)
this is the way to do it. . .

the bougainvillea is just divine. . .
drove out to view Lake Havasu. . .
isn’t it gorgeous with the mountain backdrop. . .
and the beautiful finish to our day. . .
