Lake Conroe, just out of Houston TX
is looking much better
I took this picture from the boat dock at Thousand Trails last October. . .
We took this shot today. . .and although the lake is still four feet below normal. . .
it’s definitely looking much, much better.
The carp. . .
and gar were certainly making a big splash,
doing whatever it is they were doing
in the grass beds around the perimeter of the lake. . .
Even with all the rain. . .
we are certainly enjoying the beautiful spring weather,
and all the wildflowers that are popping up. . .
like these golden eyed daisies. . .
We hope you are doing the same as you head out on your next adventure. . .
Safe travels,
Janice and Dave
Great to see.
ReplyDeleteThe wild flowers in San Antonio are beautiful this year!
ReplyDeleteHi, new to your blog. Lovin' it! You have such wonderful pictures, and they're so clean and sharp - especially the ones at Colonial Williamsburg. May I ask what camera you use? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra. . .and welcome aboard.
ReplyDeleteHubby is the photographer (most of the time). . .and he uses a Nikon D300. . .which he loves!
When I do pics, I normally just use a little Pentax Point and Shoot. . .which serves the purpose, I guess! Not as gorgeous as hubby's pics. . .but the man is not always available. . .what can I say? LOL. . .
Are you guys RV'ers?
