a picture is worth a thousand words.. .right!
well there ya go. . .
the “plan” was to arrive early at the Cumming Facility,
and get in line for service. . . yeah. . .best laid plans and all that. . .
thankfully, rather than go down Interstate 10 a couple exits. . .
Dave was inspired (Divine Intervention is what I call it)
to go around the back way, which would mean we would
be able to stay on the service road rather than
actually getting on the Interstate. . .
Thank the Lord for that decision. . .
because, when we completely lost power
about four miles from the RV Park. . .
we were able to just pull over to somewhat of a shoulder. . .
called our Roadside Service (Progressive)
and ta da. . .here he is. . .only took about an hour. . .
last break down that required a tow took much longer than that. . .
hours and hours and hours. . .
my man. ..out there supervising. . .
Fabulous tow service. . .sad event!
Cummins Rocky Mountain has a great reputation
from what I’ve seen online.. .
but they are slammed. . .
every bay is filled. . .
nothing going to happen today, but they will run a diagnostic. . .
nope. . .no results from that. . .
so we wait. . .in the Customer Lounge. . .
where they bring us Pizza Hut Pizza and Pasta Casseroles for lunch . . .
that was pretty great. . .
and finally, about 4:30 they come in to tell us
they will be pulling the coach around to the
RV Hookups. . .so. . .we are good for tonight. . .
50A service. . .and hopefully, progress of some kind tomorrow!
We are still optimistic at this point that it will something minor. . .
hopefully something as easy as the fuel pump. . .
This is just a bump in the road on the journey of life.. .
and anyone who lives this lifestyle full time for long enough
will eventually find themselves having a similar experience. . .
time will tell. . .
’til next time,
Janice and Dave
