Sometimes You Need a Little Nature. . .and that’s a fact!

okay. . .I freely admit that I’m probably a city girl. . .

and I like my conveniences. . .but sometimes it’s necessary

where there’s just peace. . .and solitude. . .

and even though this is a terrible pic. . .you get the idea, right?

never gets old. . .

we found just the place. . .Lake McBride State Park. . .

continuing in the vein of no reservations, we did check the website

to make sure the spaces were big enough. . .

and hey. . .they even have FHU’s. . .

almost unheard of in a State Park. . .

but alas. . .as soon as we rolled in the Ranger met us. . .

“Our park is kinda tight. . .we only have a couple of spots we can get you in to”. . .

but, oh what a spot it was. . .just wonderful. . .electric only. . .no problem. . .

and early the next morning, as if to prove how heavenly it was. . .
